Today I had to take my mother to the IRS office in El Monte so she can clear up a tax matter. Bloodly hell, we waited over two hours before we spoke to a rep! But at least the woman was helpful. All I can say to you all, be anal about making copies and keeping records on everything you send the IRS.
Good advice. I need to do a better job of record keeping.
ReplyDeleteThat's a long wait ... but I'm glad it was fruitful in the end. Red tape happens everywhere it seems!
ReplyDeleteI learned that with the INS a scary cousin of the IRS.
ReplyDeleteBlech! Oh that is all so blechy. I hate paperwork and numbers and that kind of stuff. I'm glad that after all that waiting you got some help.
ReplyDeleteGreat title and most apt. I keep everything. That's good and bad. Good in that I have it, bad in that everything gets lost in a mountain of paper.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it went well. And yes, thanks for the advice :-)
