Put the lime in the coconut

"I said Doctor - is there nothing I can take, Doctor to relief this tummy ache...?"

Doctor says, I do not have the Swine Flue but a case of acute food poisoning! Still, feel like death crawled into my guts. This is a view from my room. And speaking of guts I have to run to the bathroom and spill them out!

But the chalice from the palace has the brew which is true

Another great winery in Paso Robles valley, is Eagle Castel. their red zinfandel is just divine! Plus, the people are really nice.

Not doing much today though, think I may have the Swine Flue you hear so much on the news, vomiting, diarrhea, dizzy, I ache all over and yes, I have a fever! Well, how bad can it be? It's the flue! Can't drive, well, staying at this inn by the sea is far cheaper than a stay in a hospital and I have a full ocean view! Not surprise I caught this thing, been eating out every day and just because my waiters and waitress maybe a Gringo or Gringa , the people who cook my food are from South of the Border. So, sleeping a lot and drinking Gartor-aide and green tea. And water of course!

Silence is golden

Just returned from a spiritual retreat in Big Sur. No cell phones, P.C.s or any tech wonders were allowed. It was glorious and peaceful as well as insightful spending every movement just with your own thoughts. At first the weather was rather hot and sunny but by Wednesday is was windy and then cold, gray and wet. But the ocean and the woods were still beautiful and enchanting to watch in.

Happy Easter

Nothing says Easter is here more than a big white stuff bear with a pair of rabbit ears on it. Took this photo in front of a basket gift shop on Larchmont in West Hollywood. The shop was selling way over priced Easter baskets but hey that's Hollywood for you.

Happy Easter to one and all!

One picture is worth a thousands words

There is a little hobby shop on Mission Road in South Pasadena that shows the works of local artists. I never met the woman who created this work but it speaks volumes on her past experinces with love & marriage. Her collage reflects my greatest fear, due to suffereing so many brakes to my heart, I fear so meany mendings will leave me with such a callous heart I will be before a bitter, cold hearted woman with a collection of cats. One cat is fine for a young lady, I don't have a cat but still, I wonder if I will ever open my heart to love. This I don't feel as bitter as this artist feels towards love.

Wardrobe malfunction

What's in a name? A rose by anyother name may smell as sweet but a proper name can speak volumes! I just heard there is a store called Dress Barn? Excuse me? The word barn, doesn't bring to mind high fashion! What lady would buy a dress from a store that uses the word Barn in it? Who is their traget clientele; Minnie Pearl?
