The night they invented Champagne...

3 things I shall never attain,
Envy,
Content,
and sufficient Champagne. - Dorothy Parker

I need dutch courage for some minor surgery. Last week the rim of the trunk of my car fell on the brigde of nose. Causing a minor break, so my doctor wants to do some laser work on the inside of my nose. He claims the operation may cure my snoozing. I snore like a Bull-Moose.
My snoozing is so loud....
HOW LOUD IS IT?
It's so loud, that one morning I thought who is working their leave blower this early in the morning and then realized it was my own snoozing!
So I'm relaxing myself, the natural way.

"In victory, you deserve Champagne, in defeat you need it!" Napoleon Bonaparte

Spoken like a true French man! Viva la France!

By the way, do you know how many buddles are in a bottle of champagne? I do, 50 million buddles! And I love everyone of them!

Wee ... I'm all for 50,000 bubbles! And the rest!
Hey, let me know if the surgery works for the snoozing ... I might be tempted to do the same.

Um, how on earth did THAT happen?! Ouch! I can understand needing a little liquid courage. Whatever gets you through the next challenge and you know, helping you breathe better is a blessing! You will also sleep better and feel infinitely happier with more sleep.

Ouch! That's worse than being hit by a dog with a bit of PVC tubing...
Good deal about the snoring though.
Hope everything goes fine.

The surgery went well. It only took about 1 and a halfI was just given a local and I'm surprised only very slight bruising under the eyes. I have a bandage over the brigde of my nose and cotton up my nose that I had to remove and replace. But the bleeding has stopped and only need to ice my nose for the first few hours. Just had a very slight headache.

Spacelaw: I too thought of Mr. Neil's accident when the rim hit my nose.

I was feeling a little hazy from the muscle relaxers when I open the trunk of my car to take out mom's walker. I just wasn't paying attention for I lightly lifted the lid of the trunk so when I pulled out the walker the rim hit my nose.

But if this helps my snoozing it's a blessing!

Ouch. I hope you feel better soon. I love the word snoozing. It's just plain snoring over here, which sounds much louder!
