Wardrobe malfunction

What's in a name? A rose by anyother name may smell as sweet but a proper name can speak volumes! I just heard there is a store called Dress Barn? Excuse me? The word barn, doesn't bring to mind high fashion! What lady would buy a dress from a store that uses the word Barn in it? Who is their traget clientele; Minnie Pearl?

Hmm, maybe it will sell Farmer Girl clothes? Lol!
I imagine it means it will be barn size? It doesn't inspire elegant expectations does it.

I saw a reciept for dress barn on the table and I asked flippantly, "what do they do.. dress cows?'

That was a hoof in mouth moment for me.

Thanks for the laugh Hammer, the place is actually called "The Proper Ladies Dress Barn". How many proper ladies go to a barn for dresses?

You got a point there!
Lot's of places all around the world, doesn't feel this changes.
Does it make You people more stable?, or less sensitive?

LOL

"barn" in Swedish is child and children, also in old Celtic, the have it still in use in Scotland, too.

Is it a child cloth store?

I believe it's a girl girl store for the actual title is "The Proper Ladies Clothing Barn" since who wants to buy anything but eggs from a barn?
