There are still talks about an actor's strike but not with the same sound and fury as the Writer's Strike.
Today while driving to the yoga studio, I saw film trucks and trailers parked along Larchmont. And throughout South Pasadena and Pasadena I've seen film trucks and trailers parked on many neighborhood streets. It's wonderful seeing that things are being back on production again. That people are back to work again!
I hope it keeps up and no one goes back on strike again and gum up the works!

Am I to blame my imagination for this presumption, or do you people of LA get a LOT more action than we Rhode Islanders?

Well, there is a lot of film business going around in this town.
It will turn even more people off TV and film if they do that. Goodness knows I have learned how to fill up my time with creative pursuits as the result of the latest writers strike. It's going to kill so many shows in particular. I think the last strike killed off Pushing Daisies which was the best thing to happen to TV in a long time.
Glad your feeling better.
Not having a TV or being a movie buff the place I find out about what's going on is my brother in law who is a scenic and works in New England (oddly enough). I know he was thinking they were taking the summer off, but that may have changed.
Lock 'em all up in a room NOW and tell them to come out on June 30 with an agreement. That's that only thing that works.
I was happy that the Writer's Strike didn't kill of The Colbert Report!
