Paul Rever's Ride

"He springs to the saddle, the bridle, he turns,
But lingers and gazes, till full on his sight
A second lamp in the belfry burns.
A hurry of hoops in a village street,"
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

One fact I learned on my tour through the Freedom trail was the fact that he was married twice, his first wife died and he had 16 children! Busy man!

I've been past that monument before. I know you said Boston has a European feel about it -- and it does, absolutely -- but I think it's got a patriotic feel as well.
