Odd what goes through your mind when you're confinded to four walls. Today I received a delivery of huge sunflowers (my favorite flower) in a huge vase in the shape of a pumpkin from a guy I'm casually dating. It was as if Autumn had entered my room. It was beautiful! Then I thought about the fairy tale Cinderella. And then I thought, "Why a pumpkin?'" I mean, pumpkins aren't native to Europe; it's a New World plant? So where would Cinderella get her hands on a pumpkin and why would one be growing in her backyard? I guess it's about the suspension of disbelief. It's like when in the classic movie "Casablanca" when Rick and Ilsa say good-bye, wrapped up in their chic London Fog in the rain. But hold on, "It doesn't rain in the desert!". Maybe it's the meds speaking but my mind is running odd these days.
Thanks to all of you for all the kinds words and virtual hugs. It helps, it really does!

Hi Yoga Gal! I love the idea of sunflowers and a pumpkin-shaped vase. When I think of pumpkins, I always imagine big fields with tons of them growing under the warm sun and all the bright colors. They are a phenomena to me with their big round shapes growing from such a small seed. How are you feeling today? I hope better and not as sore. Here's a bunch more hugs!!!!!
:)
Nice picture!
I hope you are better today.
Get well soon! I know how awful it is to get prodded and scoped all the time. Just keep your mind on the flowers and not all the docs and you'll make it.
