Went to John Wayne Airport to pick up a friend. Beats driving to LAX! Still, don't like going to the very Right-Wing Orange Curtian. Thought this statue with the big American flag was a scream.

Hi Yoga Gal! I could hear John Wayne's voice when I read the title of your post! Next time tell your friend to fly into Burbank -- it's pretty easy to get in and out of there.

i've flown into/out of LAX, burbank, ontario and the johnwaynesantanaorangecounty airport, and while i like ontario because it's easy to get into and out of, and i like LAX because of the accessibility of the airplanes (i LOVE airplane watching!), i love john wayne airport most of all. burbank is so primitive to me that it almost seems like a third world country. lol.
