Sunday, sunday, sunday.... after yoga class feeling rather blue because I started to casually date a guy who plays for the major leagues NBL and I can't see him very often because HELLO it's baseball season. I'm not really certain that I even want to be involved with this person, he's sweet but not my type. I mean his body is sheer perfection but his mind, well we can't have everything! Why can men love a woman who is just eye candy? He's sweet and we have fun, but we haven't done anything yet, like kids. It's kind of fun but now he wants me to go to Maui with him when the season is over for a long week of getting to know each other. But I don't know if I should go. I love Maui but we're strangers , really, only dated a few times and had a great time but a whole week? Help, what should I do?
This Sunday so stressed out about this matter I went to Le Petie Greek and ate like this guy!

Ahhh interesting scenerio with the man-candy!
I hear you on the whole 'arm candy' being okay for men...but as women we want more. I don't think there is anything wrong with that at all!
the bigger question is whether you trust him enough to go away for a week with him. not something you normally do with a casual acquaintance. but if you trust him, there's no reason not to have fun with him until you decide if he's worth being more than man-candy. lol.
I come to be thankful to you for the work that you have developed in yours blogue and to desire good vacations to you.
well, I can only give my opinion based on my experience-listen to your gut, it is rarely wrong.
many blessings-
hmmmm.....if I live to be 150 years old, I will never figure out men.
Going away together is something you do After you know each other well... not in order to get to know him.
But hey, it is Maui!
I have to agree with greggo on this one. If he doesn't creep you out and you feel like this could be a fun and safe trip..why not?
You're a good soul, with a good head on your shoulders - trust your instincts - and please be careful...
sending you good karma, good thoughts...
:-)
Thanks for the good karma and advice. Even though two weeks in Maui sounds wonderful I told my friend that we should "date" a little longer before I trust being alone on a condo on the beach with him! It's not like I can have cab fare to go home it it doesn't work out. He's under a lot of stress right now since play off start soon but he was also understanding. So who knows! Thanks for the words of wisdom.
