yeah, i could use a drink myself. lol. have the docs told you how the healing works, what you'll have to go through, and if you're going to have to change your diet, etc.?

The cause for my bleeding uclers were due to the strong steroid (mispelled I'm certian) meds I were on due to a pass back injury. My diet won't need to be changed and I will be able to enjoy wine and my martinis as soon as the uclers heal. Thanks for the hugs!

Hi Yoga Gal! I am so happy you get to go home -- and that you won't need to change your diet. That is fantastic -- it would be terrible to have to give up your favorite food and drinks. I'm sorry you feel so crummy today, though. Let's hope tomorrow will be much better! Here's a million more hugs!

Glad to hear you'll be home. I'm surprised that the docs will let you have a celebratory drink during your recovery... but that is great news indeed! Cheers!

Just catching up on your previous posts. Cripes!
I'm sorry you had to go through this nightmare.
I went through the same barrage of tests for stomach cancer a couple years ago. My stomach had bloated out.
I had been a vegetarian for 6 years, and then went back on meat for a bit cause I was anemic.
But my digestive system rejected the meat and it just sort of sat in my colon....gross, but a minor and fixable problem.
Bright side...your colon is cleaned out now.
Take care of yourself.
